Purpose of award: To provide financial support to students who have demonstrated academic achievement.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school students or GED recipients who are Louisiana residents and U.S. citizens. They must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and score above 23 on the ACT or above 970 on the SAT. GED recipients should have a score above 620. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

Amount: $1,500.
Number of awards: 124. Scholarship may be renewable.
