Purpose of award: To provide incentives and encouragement for career and technical students to pursue higher education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be public high school seniors in West Virginia who rank in the top quarter of their class or have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. They must have completed four or more units in a single technical concentration, have no final semester grades below a C and plan to pursue higher education in a career field related to their technical concentration.
Target applicant: High school students
Minimum GPA: 3
Amount: $2,000.
