Purpose of award: To support female students who demonstrate leadership and facilitate cultural relationships.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be starting their junior year or higher at a California school. They must be able to attend the awards ceremony in Los Angeles at their own expense. Students must also submit an essay showing- how their studies will contribute to leadership or to the relationship between the United States and Japan.
